EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN :: LIEBESLIEDER

Numa lojinha suiça bem simpatica com o chão todo coberto de cds, vinil, DVDs e tudo o que é bom encontei este DVD baratíssimo dos EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN. Já conhecia alguns trabalhos em video desta banda que, pela sua natureza, por vezes se tornam "complicados" de se ouvirem de uma ponta a outra de uma assentada só (ptincipalmente os trabalhos mais antigos). Para além do preço e do interesse óbvio, o que me levou a adquir esta peça foi o seguinte: "[...] Liebslieder is the first proper Einstürzende Neubauten documentary. Commissioned by the German WDR TV's architecture division, it charts their beginnings in hole beneath an Autobahn flyover in Berlin, where guiding spirit Blixa Bargeld and NU Unruh made music by hurting themselves at its metal walls. It takes you trough the early Untergang years, when they picked up momentum - and members FM Einheit, Alex Hacke and Mark Chung - through a seemingly perverse celebration of collapse and decline. Using interviews, concert material and often rare film footage, Liebslieder plots their spreading influence around the world, their blitzes on moribund British and American music scenes, and their outings as teen idols in Tokyo. [...] Liebslieder also includes concert footage from their 1993 tour and, in full, their first ever video clips "Interim" and "Blume"." É, de facto, um obrigatório pois é a história contada pelos próprios de uma forma extremamente compreensiva, desfilando os diversos títulos devidamente comentados e contextualizados sem grandes artifícios! Sendo incontornável a influência dos Einsturzende naquilo que é a música actual, fica o contributo deles para a compreensão desta.
